October 28, 2021 – Revelation 21:4-5

“He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore, for the former things have passed away. And He who was seated on the throne said, “Behold, I am making all things new.” Also He said, “Write this down, for these words are trustworthy and true.” Revelation 21:4-5.

God revealed this truth to Apostle John.  For life on earth will be no more. No more pain, mourning, or crying. Our Lord God promises all things will be new and true.  This gives us hope and expectant joy for each day.

God declares, “It is done!” Remember the words of God’s Son, Jesus, on the cross? When Jesus had received the sour wine, He said, “It is finished,” and He bowed His head and gave up His spirit. John 19:30.

God sent Jesus that we might have the hope of a new life, when Jesus said, And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age. Matthew 28:20b.

Dear Lord God in Heaven, may I heed the words of Jesus and obey them. Then I can face Your second coming again as Your child and dwell in the land of endless joy and peace because of your Love, I pray in the name of Jesus, Amen.

“Let not your hearts be troubled. Believe in God; believe also in me. In my Father’s house are many rooms. If it were not so, would I have told you that I go to prepare a place for you?” John 14:1-2. Come, Lord Jesus!

And He said to me, “It is done! I am the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end. To the thirsty I will give from the spring of the water of life without payment. The one who conquers will have this heritage, and I will be his God and he will be my son.” Revelation 21:6-7.
