October 21, 2021 – Psalm 77:12-14

I will ponder all Your work, and meditate on Your mighty deeds. Your way, O God, is holy. What god is great like our God? You are the God who works wonders; You have made known Your might among the peoples. Psalm 77:12-14.

When I first read these words, I didn’t now realize the wonder and the awe of what Mary knew when her son, Jesus was born. But Mary treasured up all these things, pondering them in her heart. Luke 2:19. A new baby is born, and it changes our perspective on life. We see a new life begin.  When we accept Jesus as our Savior and we are baptized, we are re-born in our thinking and our living.

When the clouds pour out water and we hear thunder, does it come so you will have a bad day? On the contrary, it is a message from God. The Lord thundered from heaven, and the Most High uttered His Voice. 2 Samuel 22:14.

Oh, Lord most High, remind us of your awe and wonder. When we see a rainbow in the Heavens, help us to ponder on your Love and Glory. Forgive us of our sins, and rejoice in Your Goodness. I pray in the name of Jesus. Amen.

He delivers and rescues; He works signs and wonders in heaven and on earth, He who has saved Daniel from the power of the lions.” Daniel 6:27.

Lord, you are my God; I will exalt you; I will praise Your Name,
for You have done wonderful things, plans formed of old, faithful and sure. Isaiah 25:1.

The clouds poured out water; the skies gave forth thunder; Your arrows flashed on every side. The crash of your thunder was in the whirlwind; your lightnings lighted up the world; the earth trembled and shook. Your way was through the sea, your path through the great waters; yet your footprints were unseen. Psalm 77:17-19.
