October 18, 2017 – Psalm 51:11

Do not banish me from your presence, and don’t take your Holy Spirit from me. Psalm 51:11

There is nothing like the presence of God in our hearts and lives. When nothing goes well, and our world is upside down, what is steady?  Who is always with us? The Presence of God – who is the same yesterday, today, and all the tomorrows.

The beauty of the joy of salvation is loving forgiveness.  This kind of joy transcends any worldly trouble with hope.  Joy coming from knowing God loves us  is beyond anything we can ever fathom. How gracious is He!

He changes our hearts.  He changes our outlook.  He understands us.  We often do not want to obey Him, but a relationship that is pure from sin – creates delight.   The Lord your God will delight in you if you obey his voice and keep the commands and decrees written in this Book of Instruction, and if you turn to the Lord your God with all your heart and soul. Deuteronomy 30:10.

Coming Home to our Lord God is always through loving Him so much, we want to obey.  It is a continuous ‘coming home’.  The beautiful reunion of close friends and family of God.  This love is so precious and life-giving, we want to share with others, that none are ever left out from this walk with our Lord God.

…the Almighty himself will be your treasure. He will be your precious silver! “Then you will take delight in the Almighty and look up to God. You will pray to him, and he will hear you, and you will fulfill your vows to him.  Job 22:25-27

Restore to me the joy of your salvation, and make me willing to obey you. Then I will teach your ways to rebels, and they will return to you. Psalm 51:12-13
