March 28, 2017 – Galatians 1:15-16
But even before I was born, God chose me and called me by his marvelous grace. Then it pleased him to reveal his Son to me so that I would proclaim the Good News about Jesus to the Gentiles. Galatians 1:15-16
Our beginnings came long before our first breath. God chose me and He chose you before we were born into this world. He loved us before our birth. You made all the delicate, inner parts of my body and knit me together in my mother’s womb. Thank you for making me so wonderfully complex! Your workmanship is marvelous—how well I know it. You watched me as I was being formed in utter seclusion, as I was woven together in the dark of the womb. You saw me before I was born. Every day of my life was recorded in your book. Every moment was laid out before a single day had passed. Psalm 139:13-16
Our Lord God knows our actions and thoughts before we think or say them. He knows the number of hairs on our heads. Your thoughts of us are so precious.
Guide my thoughts, O Lord, to You and put my trust always in your Grace. Help me to understand the depth of your love. Life is meaningless without You. Walk with me each day, for You are All to me. Help me understand the sacrifice of love Jesus made for me. When I see a new baby, help me to see the love, prayers, and time You invest in each new life. Help me to live for You in all I do and say. There is no other as great as You, Oh, Lord God.
I do not treat the grace of God as meaningless. For if keeping the law could make us right with God, then there was no need for Christ to die. Galatians 2:21
