February 8, 2018 – John 5:24
“I tell you the truth, those who listen to my message and believe in God who sent me have eternal life. They will never be condemned for their sins, but they have already passed from death into life.” John 5:24
Have you ever considered how many words bring vibrations through the air? Angry words, sad words, happy words, or thankful words. It seems there is no end to words that swarm around us. True words and false words. Who do we listen to?
Jesus said these words in Chapter 5 of John, and begins, “I tell you the truth…” and promises us if we believe His Words, we will have eternal life. Even when we are dead, we will hear His Words! Who is this Son of God? He is Jesus. God the Father has give Jesus, the Son of God, life-giving power.
God is Love, and Jesus tells us who He is in the four Gospels. I am Humble and Gentle, Take courage, I am here!, I am the Messiah, I am here, I am the bread of life, I am the light of the world, I am from above, I am the good shepherd, I am the resurrection and the life, I am the way, the truth, and the life, I am the vine, and I am praying.
“And I assure you that the time is coming, indeed it’s here now, when the dead will hear my voice—the voice of the Son of God. And those who listen will live. The Father has life in himself, and he has granted that same life-giving power to his Son.” John 5:25-26
