February 3, 2016 – Psalm 105:1-2

Psalm105-1-2Give thanks to the Lord and proclaim his greatness. Let the whole world know what he has done. Sing to him; yes, sing his praises. Tell everyone about his wonderful deeds. Psalm 105:1-2Sing and praise the Lord with all your might.  Tell everyone what He has done for you.  All creation  praises Him.  One of my favorite verses of praise is: You will live in joy and peace. The mountains and hills will burst into song, and the trees of the field will clap their hands!  Isaiah 55:12.Even the lowly sparrow is cared for. Don’t be afraid of those who want to kill your body; they cannot touch your soul. Fear only God, who can destroy both soul and body in hell.  What is the price of two sparrows—one copper coin? But not a single sparrow can fall to the ground without your Father knowing it.  And the very hairs on your head are all numbered.  Matthew 11:28-30God is committed to justice, and  He loves us…He stands by His Word through thousands of generations.  How can we doubt Him?  How can we turn away from Him?  Our Lord God is the only constant in our lives.  The only One who gives us Peace and Joy and Hope.Let this be our continual song ….

Praise the Lord! Let all that I am praise the Lord.  I will praise the Lord as long as I live. I will sing praises to my God with my dying breath. Psalm 146:1-2

He is the Lord our God. His justice is seen throughout the land. He always stands by his covenant— the commitment He made to a thousand generations. Psalm 105:7-8
