April 27, 2021 – I John 5:3-5
For this is the love of God, that we keep His commandments. And His commandments are not burdensome. For everyone who has been born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world—our faith. Who is it that overcomes the world, except the one who believes that Jesus is the Son of God? I John 5:3-5.
Only through Christ Jesus may we over come the world. What is the one thing we fight against in this world, but Death. It is through faith in Christ Jesus that we will overcome our last enemy, Death, and rise again. “O death, where is your victory? O death, where is your sting?” I Corinthians 15:55.
We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised imperishable, and we shall be changed. I Corinthians 15:51b-52.
O, Lord, My God, this change is a mystery, but in You, all things are possible. Help my Faith in You to grow ever greater, and never doubt Your Precious Word. I pray in the Name of Jesus, who sacrificed His Life for me, and was raised to New Life! Amen.
And we know that the Son of God has come and has given us understanding, so that we may know Him who is true. I John 5:20a.
I write these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, that you may know that you have eternal life. And this is the confidence that we have toward Him, that if we ask anything according to His will He hears us. And if we know that He hears us in whatever we ask, we know that we have the requests that we have asked of Him. I John 5:13-15.
