March 25, 2020 – Psalm 27:11-12
Teach me your way, O Lord, and lead me on a level path because of my enemies. Give me not up to the will of my adversaries; for false witnesses have risen against me, and they breathe out violence. Psalm 27:11-12.
Our future seems as murky as the world in a heavy fog at a four-way stop. Teach me, says the man of humility.
Following our Lord who created the Heavens and the Earth and all that is in it, helps us to know His Goodness. The stark reality of Light and Dark is not lost. Light invites goodness, courage, and strength from the Lord. Darkness invites hidden evil trips us into deep murky unbelief.
What we believe, goodness or evil, makes the decision for the destiny of our lives. In every trial of life on this earth we choose our destiny. We wait on the Lord and take courage or we follow evil, stepping into the darkness of fear.
Put on then, as God’s chosen ones, holy and beloved, compassionate hearts, kindness, humility, meekness, and patience, bearing with one another and, if one has a complaint against another, forgiving each other; as the Lord has forgiven you, so you also must forgive. And above all these put on love, which binds everything together in perfect harmony. Colossians 3:12-14.
So if there is any encouragement in Christ, any comfort from love, any participation in the Spirit, any affection and sympathy, complete my joy by being of the same mind, having the same love, being in full accord and of one mind. Do nothing from selfish ambition or conceit, but in humility count others more significant than yourselves. Philippians 2:1-3
I believe that I shall look upon the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living! Wait for the Lord; be strong, and let your heart take courage; wait for the Lord! Psalm 27:13-14.
