December 3, 2019 – Psalm 139:13-14

For You formed my inward parts; You knitted me together in my mother’s womb. I praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Wonderful are Your works; my soul knows it very well. Psalm 139:13-14.

Oh, how often I read this scripture, for it underlines God’s great majesty and love for each of us. We are part of His Love Story He is writing.  He knew us before He created the world.  He creates each baby in the womb.  How can this be?  It is too much for us to understand.

Just as The heavens declare the glory of God, and the sky above proclaims His handiwork. Day to day pours out speech, and night to night reveals knowledge. There is no speech, nor are there words, whose voice is not heard.  Psalm 19:1-3.  This is how God works in each of us.

What makes us long for things to go well?  Why do we travel miles to gather pictures of tall mountains, delicate flowers, and sweet babies? He has made everything beautiful in its time. Also, He has put eternity into man’s heart, yet so that he cannot find out what God has done from the beginning to the end. Ecclesiastes 3:11.

One of my sweet memories is recalling the memory verses I learned as a child. Now through the mind God created, I recall the reason I trust Him! I lift up my eyes to the hills. From where does my help come? My help comes from the Lord, Who made heaven and earth.  Psalm 121:1-2.

My frame was not hidden from You, when I was being made in secret, intricately woven in the depths of the earth. Your eyes saw my unformed substance; in Your book were written, every one of them, the days that were formed for me, when as yet there was none of them. Psalm 139:15-16.
