The Birth of Jesus

       O
Holy Night
,
the stars were brightly shining; It is the night of the dear Savior’s birth. It
Came Upon the Midnight Clear
, near The Little Town of Bethlehem
An announcement would be made by the Angels From the Realms
of Glory!
Now proclaiming the Messiah’s birth.

The
Silent Night, Holy Night
while While Shepherds Watched Their Flock all
seated on the ground.  The angel of the Lord came down, And glory who is
Christ the Lord. And this shall be the sign. The heav’nly Babe, you there shall
find in the manger laid.  “Where is He who has been born King of the
Jews? For we saw His star when it rose and have come to worship
Him.” The shepherds hurried to see where the Baby lay.
  Away in a
Manger,
no crib for a bed. The little Lord Jesus Laid down His
sweet head. The stars in the sky, Looked down where He lay. The Little Lord
Jesus, Asleep on the hay.

Joy to the World, the Lord is Come. Let every heart prepare Him room,
And Heaven and Nature sing.
O Come, All Ye Faithful, Joyful and
Triumphant.
O come ye, to Bethlehem, Come and behold Him, Born the King
of Angels! O sing, choirs of angels, Sing in exultation, Oh, come, oh come ye
to Bethlehem. Come and behold Him, Let us adore Him Christ the Lord.

Meanwhile,
We, Three Kings of Orient Are, Bearing gifts, we traverse afar.
Following yonder star!  O Star of wonder, Star of night, Star with royal
beauty bright. Westward leading, still proceeding, Guide us to They Perfect
Light.

Through the ages, men will continue to sing, “What Child Is This? Who
laid to rest on Mary’s lap to sleeping.” Whom angels greet with anthems sweet,
while shepherds are keeping?  This, this is Christ, the King; whom
shepherds guard and angels sing: Haste, haste to bring Him laud, The Babe, the
Son of Mary!

Jesus Christ is more than a song Angels sing. He lived a short while on earth
and yet His Name brings Joy and Hope for each one who lives. No Christmas
Carol, not even Handel’s Messiah, with its majestic lyrics, Hallelujah,
The Lord God Omnipotent reigneth can thrill our hearts as much as knowing and
living with Jesus.  Who is this Jesus?

He states, I am the bread; I am the light of the world; I am the door; I am the
good shepherd, and I am the resurrection and life. I am the way, and the
truth and the life and I am the true vine.

Jesus lights our way, He cares for us; He is the truth, and He is life and the way
of life eternal.

When Moses asked God what His Name is, God said, ‘I Am!’.  God said to
Moses,
“I am who I am.” And He said, “Say this to the people of Israel: ‘I
Am has sent me to you.’”  Exodus 3:14. Once we see God as He is,
we see our lives in a whole new light.
