September 28, 2015 – Jeremiah 29:11

For I know the thoughts I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil to give you a future and hope.  Jeremiah 29:11So awesome, to consider that God sends thoughts — just to me and just to you.  The thoughts are “I love you’s” as only our Lord Jehovah can speak.   He is in control, and He sends messages through His Word.  When we are discouraged, when we are impatient, when we don’t like the way our lives are going…He knows and cares.There is one thing The Lord cannot do.  He cannot choose for us.  He cannot make us choose Him.  We have the power to choose to follow Jesus who is the Way, the Truth and the Life.  Or we can follow the way of death.  It isn’t either or with the Lord.  It is ‘all in’ love.Jesus replied, “‘You must love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, and all your mind.’  This is the first and greatest commandment.  A second is equally important: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ Matthew 22:37-39Seek and choose Jesus!  He is there waiting.  He will listen as we pray to Him, we will find Him when we search for Him.  Choosing His Way is not a one time thing.  Each day there is a deeper way in which we choose Him and Him alone.  Jesus and Jesus alone gives us Hope to face each day.May we open our hearts and choose Jesus and follow Him in all things.  He alone brings us peace, joy, comfort and rest.  Blessed is the Name of Jesus!Then you will call upon Me and go and pray to Me, and I will listen to you. And you will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart. Jeremiah 29:12-13
