September 15, 2017 – Psalm 25:8-9

Psalm 25:8-9 – The Lord is good and does what is right; he shows the proper path to those who go astray. He leads the humble in doing right, teaching them his way.

He leads the humble.  When we think we have all the answers, humility and following God is the last thing in our minds.   The most wise person knows and follows God.

James 3:13 – If you are wise and understand God’s ways, prove it by living an honorable life, doing good works with the humility that comes from wisdom.

Psalm 14:2 – The Lord looks down from heaven on the entire human race; he looks to see if anyone is truly wise, if anyone seeks God.

Wisdom comes from keeping and obeying God and His Leading on paths of righteousness in this life. When competition and trying to be #1 in all you do creates a raw edge of life with confusion and anger.  When we want to control the behavior of another person, this is not leading.  Our example of obedience to the precepts of God, the way we live each day is the book others read.

Letting God lead our thoughts, our motives, our actions, and our language, we have a true love relationship with our Lord God. A relationship that brings us Love, Joy, and Peace.  And that is only the beginning of the glory that is ours.

Joyful are those who obey his laws and search for him with all their hearts.  Psalm 119:2

Psalm 25:10 The Lord leads with unfailing love and faithfulness all who keep his covenant and obey his demands.
