September 10, 2018 – Psalm 92:1-2
It is good to give thanks to the Lord, And to sing praises to Your name, O Most High; To declare Your loving kindness in the morning, And Your faithfulness every night. Psalm 92:1-2.
How beautiful is your morning, Lord! The crisp air tells of changing seasons, in your time. Your creatures busily gather food You provide. The clouds have a delicate brush of pink.
The birds wing their way across the expanse of the heavens, singing their songs of praise. Flowers continue to bloom while the leaves on the trees wave at me in the morning breeze. Tomatoes ripen in God’s Time. There is no end to the work of Your Hands.
But I am trusting you, O Lord, saying, “You are my God!” My future is in your hands. Rescue me from those who hunt me down relentlessly. Let your favor shine on your servant. In your unfailing love, rescue me. Psalm 31:14-16.
Each tiny baby who comes into this world knows the touch of your Hands. You were with me before I was born. You continue to be with me. Your faithfulness astounds me and I give you the glory.
How precious are your thoughts about me, O God. They cannot be numbered! I can’t even count them; they outnumber the grains of sand! And when I wake up, you are still with me! Psalm 139:17-18.
“Our Father, Which art in Heaven, Hallowed be Thy Name. Your Kingdom come, Your will be done on earth as it is in Heaven.” Search me, O God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts. Point out anything in me that offends you, and lead me along the path of everlasting life. Psalm 139:23-24.
For You, Lord, have made me glad through Your work; I will triumph in the works of Your hands. O Lord, how great are Your works! Your thoughts are very deep. Psalm 92:4-5.
