Reflection of “Love of Jesus by Faith!” March 1, 2025

For this reason,I bend from whom every family in heaven and on earth derives its name,  that He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with power through His Spirit in the inner self, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; and that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and height and depth, and to know the love of Christ which surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled to all the fullness of God. Ephesians 3:14-19.

This morning, I read Luke 12:6-7.  Are five sparrows not sold for two assaria? And yet not one of them has gone unnoticed in the sight of God. But even the hairs of your head are all counted. Do not fear; you are more valuable than a great number of sparrows. We are of more value than sparrows to God who created us, male and female. He knows us through and through, Psalm 139.

Lord, You have searched me and known me. You know when I sit.  You scrutinize my path and my lying down and are acquainted with all my ways.  Even before there is a word on my tongue, Behold, Lord, You know it all. You have encircled me behind and in front And placed Your Hand upon me. Such knowledge is too wonderful for me; It is too high, I cannot comprehend it. Psalm 139:1-6.

There is no place we can go from your Presence. Not even under a pink bedspread. When I was a child, we all had to take naps, I would rather read, so I read, pulling the pink bedspread around me. Then one day I asked, Mom, Can God see under pink bedspread?  Her answer was yes

There are three words in John 14:6-7. These words we all meet in our lives and must choose the way to follow. Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father except through Me.  If you had known Me, you would have known My Father also; from now on you know Him and have seen Him.”

When I was a child, one song I learned contained these lyrics. Jesus Loves me this I know For the Bible tells me so. Little ones to Him belong, They are weak, yet He is strong.

I wondered is there a time when is more closely than others? I read in Psalm 139:13-18 and learned this as a young mother. For You created my innermost parts; You wove me in my mother’s womb.  I will give thanks to You, because I am awesomely and wonderfully made; Wonderful are Your works, And my soul knows it very well. My frame was not hidden from You. When I was made in secret and skillfully formed in the depths of the earth; Your Eyes have seen my formless substance; And in Your book were written
All the days that were ordained for me, When as yet there was not one of them.  How precious also are Your thoughts for me, God! How vast is the sum of them! If I were I to count them, they would
outnumber the sand. When I awake, I am still with You. Psalm 139:13-18. The last line of this Psalm 139 says, Lead me in the way everlasting!

Everyone who believes that Jesus is the Christ has been born of God, and everyone who loves the Father loves the child born of Him. By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God and follow His commandments.  I John 5:1-2.

John to the seven churches that are in Asia: Grace to you and peace from Him who is, and who was, and who is to come, and from the seven spirits who are before His throne, and from Jesus Christ, the faithful witness, the firstborn of the dead, and the ruler of the kings of the earth. To Him who loves us and released us from our sins by His blood— and He made us into a kingdom, priests to His God and Father—to Him be the glory and the dominion forever and ever. Amen. Revelation 1:4-6

Beloved, let’s love one another; for love is from God, and everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God. The one who does not love does not know God, because God is love. By this the love of God was revealed in us, that God has sent His only Son into the world so that we may live through Him. I John 4:7-9.

This verse tells how God’s Love began in His Son. “For God so loved the world, that He gave His only Son, so that everyone who believes in Him will not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send the Son into the world to judge the world, but so that the world might be saved through Him. The one who believes in Him is not judged; the one who does not believe has been judged already, because he has not believed in the name of the only Son of God.  John 3:16-18.
