October 24, 2016 – Psalm 18:29-31

God’s way is perfect. All the Lord’s promises prove true. He is a shield for all who look to him for protection. For who is God except the Lord? Who but our God is a solid rock? Psalm 18:29-31God’s Way is Perfect!  Just knowing and believing this one sentence sets our mind in an eternal mindset. Every promise in his Holy Word is true.  There are no exceptions.When we live God’s way, He is our shield from  wrong-headedness – thinking as an humble person.  Not believing we are more than we are.   Trusting and serving Him is the essence of who we are in Him.God is our strength – we have no need of any other strength.  Philippians 4:13 –For I can do everything through Christ, who gives me strength.Are you worried, concerned? Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus.  Philippians 4:6-7The next two verses are promises for those who follow God’s teaching.  It is how we respond to His Word, the light for our path, that makes the difference and gives us strength each day for any experience life has for us.
