November 24, 2020 – Colossians 1:9-11
And so, from the day we heard, we have not ceased to pray for you, asking that you may be filled with the knowledge of His will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding, so as to walk in a manner worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing to Him: bearing fruit in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God; being strengthened with all power, according to His glorious might, for all endurance and patience with joy. Colossians 1:9-11.
This is the Joy and Peace that awaits us as we begin our walk with our Lord Jesus. As we learn more about Jesus and how He Loves, we will bear the Fruit of the Holy Spirit in our lives of Patience, Kindness, Goodness, Faithfulness, Gentleness, and Self-Control.
Jesus is the image of the invisible God and He is the firstborn of all creation through whom all things were made – visible and invisible. And He who was seated on the throne said, “Behold, I am making all things new.” Also he said, “Write this down, for these words are trustworthy and true.” Revelations 21:5.
O Lord, make me new in Your Eyes. Forgive my sins, and make me whole again. Walk with me that I have your Peace. In the name of Jesus, I pray. Amen.
“If you had known me, you would have known my Father also. From now on you do know Him and have seen Him.” John 14:7.
Wait for the Lord; be strong, and let your heart take courage; wait for the Lord! Psalm 27:14.
Giving thanks to the Father, who has qualified you to share in the inheritance of the saints in light. He has delivered us from the domain of darkness and transferred us to the kingdom of his beloved Son, in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins. He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation. Colossians 1:12-15.
