November 17, 2017 – Isaiah 45:6-7

“…so all the world from east to west will know there is no other God.  I am the Lord, and there is no other. I create the light and make the darkness. I send good times and bad times. I, the Lord, am the One who does these things.”  Isaiah 45:6-7.  

The ultimate kind of knowing God is all that IS, our Lord God creates. Anything we celebrate comes from Him.  Light, Love, new life, and purity of salvation come from God Almighty.

Once, what we know becomes a certainty in our hearts, there is nothing we can do but respond with joy.  I look up to the mountains—does my help come from there? My help comes from the Lord, who made heaven and earth! The Lord keeps you from all harm and watches over your life. The Lord keeps watch over you as you come and go, both now and forever. Psalm 121:1, 7-8.

Dear friends, since God loved us that much, we surely ought to love each other. No one has ever seen God. But if we love each other, God lives in us, and his love is brought to full expression in us. And God has given us his Spirit as proof that we live in him and He in us.  I John 4:11-13.

Can we ever love enough?  When we learn to love others as God loves us, and this is a life-long pursuit with our hearts wide open, and the heavens pour out righteousness only God creates.

Love does no wrong to others, so love fulfills the requirements of God’s law.  Romans 13:10.

“Open up, O heavens, and pour out your righteousness. Let the earth open wide so salvation and righteousness can sprout up together. I, the Lord, created them.” Isaiah 45:8.
