November 14, 2018 – Psalm 33:3-5

Sing a new song of praise to Him; play skillfully on the harp, and sing with joy. For the word of the Lord holds true, and we can trust everything He does. He loves whatever is just and good; the unfailing love of the Lord fills the earth. Psalm 33:3-5.

Each new day brings another new song of joyful praise. The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; his mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.  Lamentations 3:22-23.  

Each day we put our hope in the Lord and our hearts can’t help singing your praise.  Your boundless love surrounds us on every hand.  “Turn to me and be saved, all the ends of the earth! For I am God, and there is no other.” Isaiah 45:22. 

And the melody that we sing, of Christ the King…Resounds from the highest mountain, and the deepest sea.  In the hush of evening our song of praise to our Lord gives us peace.  This peace the world cannot give. His comfort and joy wraps our hearts in His love and fills us with hope.  And we hear His words, And Lo, I am with you forever!

In the silence of the moment let us hear these words — “Be still, and know that I am God. I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth!” Psalm 46:10.
