November 12, 2018 – Psalm 16:5-6

Lord, You alone are my inheritance, my cup of blessing.You guard all that is mine. The land You have given me is a pleasant land. What a wonderful inheritance!  Psalm 16:5-6.

How often I need Your Refreshment to fill me with confidant joy.  When the next step is darkened with doubt and dread, I remember this verse, Take delight in the Lord, and He will give you your heart’s desires. Psalm  37:4.   The Lord directs the steps of the godly. He delights in every detail of their lives.  Psalm 37:23.  

I give you my heart, Lord Jesus, and I know you will guide and teach me.  How can I ever despair in this life.  All my joy comes from you.  I come to you with a grateful heart.  Walking with You is the reason why I praise You, O Lord. Your faithful love steadies me every moment of my life.  You are my life and love now and forever.  My cup overflows with the Joy that only comes from You.

And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God’s love. Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow—not even the powers of hell can separate us from God’s love. No power in the sky above or in the earth below—indeed, nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord.  Romans 8:38-39.  

I will bless the Lord who guides me; even at night, my heart instructs me. I know the Lord is always with me. I will not be shaken, for He is right beside me. No wonder my heart is glad, and I rejoice. My body rests in safety. Psalm 16:7-9
