I love you, Lord; you are my strength. The Lord is my rock, my fortress, and my savior; my God is my rock, in whom I find protection. He is my shield, the power that saves me, and my place of safety. I called on the Lord, who is worthy of praise, and he saved me from my enemies. Psalm 18:1-3The first time I saw the mountains in Colorado, I knew the red hills in Oklahoma I called mountains ,weren’t. This photo shows the strength of a mountain, created by our Lord God. First time I climbed a small hill, I was breathless, now it is years later. Years when I am often in deep water of distress and trouble. My Lord Jesus fills my heart with the his continuous rescue. He is my hiding place. He provides me a shield from my enemies. He draws me out of the deep waters of distress.
Why does My Lord God support me and care? He led me to a place of safety; he rescued me because he delights in me. Psalm18:19. Did you know that you delight God? The question is, are you delighted in God enough to study His Words? Do you delight in God enough to love and trust Him? Psalm 37:4-5 – Take delight in the Lord, and he will give you your heart’s desires. Commit everything you do to the Lord. Trust him, and He will help you.
God’s delight and his rescue is in our reach. Reach for the pinnacle (Height) of delight in God. Trust Him and He smiles.
The Love of God fills us up with joy, peace and patience. Hang on for a breathless ride to Heaven with His Son Jesus — to the best of the best — salvation. Live as Children of Light in this world, and He becomes our Friend and with us every step of our lives.
Just this moment, delight and rejoice in the Lord God and be grateful!
He reached down from heaven and rescued me; he drew me out of deep waters. He rescued me from my powerful enemies, from those who hated me and were too strong for me. They attacked me at a moment when I was in distress, but the Lord supported me. Psalm 18:16-18
