March 8, 2016 – Psalm 18:30

This God—his way is perfect; the word of the Lord proves true; he is a shield for all those who take refuge in him. Psalm 18:30Have you ever wondered what to do?  Do you know how to know which choice to make?  Or do you speak without thinking and act without wondering what will happen next?We all do, and we learn slowly what God’s perfect way is. Have you ever had that feeling you shouldn’t have said or done something?  That is God telling you that you just made a mistake.  When actions or words do not show love, it was wrong.  God deals only in Truth, not as the world, where no one can be trusted.  His Word is true..If God first loved us, there is no way we can ever repay Him except by giving our heart, souls and minds to Him.  He will lead us, if we simply put our hand into His.  He wants what is best for us.The most wonderful promise is to know that when we delight in the Lord and His way, he will not let us stumble.  When we rush ahead of Him, He says Be Still and Wait.  He becomes our teacher, Guide and Shepherd, bringing us back to Him.Take delight in the Lord, and he will give you your heart’s desires.  Psalm 37:4….But they delight in the law of the Lord, meditating on it day and night. Psalm 1:2….The Lord directs the steps of the godly. He delights in every detail of their lives.  Psalm 37:23…..Love each other with genuine affection, and take delight in honoring each other. Romans 12:10The Lord shows us how we should live, and he is pleased when he sees people living that way. If they stumble, they will not fall because the Lord reaches out to steady them. Psalm 37:22-23
