March 25, 2015 – John 5:24

I tell you the truth, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life and will not be condemned; he has crossed over from death to life. John 5:24Truth and Time.  It is always time for the truth to triumph.  Jesus is truth.  And you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.” John 8:32 …Jesus told him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one can come to the Father except through me. John 14:6.A procrastinator will read the following, ‘time is coming, indeed it’s here now…’ and tell himself — it isn’t time for me yet.  I have plenty of time before I get serious about this life and death thing.  Jesus inserts six little words that make it life and death — “And those who listen will live.”  Remember the commercial, “Can you hear me now?  Can you hear me now?” The Lord is not slow to fulfill his promise as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should reach repentance.”  2 Peter 3:9Just who is this Jesus, anyway?  What has He to do with me?  He is the way to life, He died so that your sins – leading to death – are forgiven.  God has granted Jesus the authority to judge everyone, for Jesus is the Son of Man.    There is rest in Jesus, life in Jesus, hope in Jesus, forgiveness in Jesus, peace in Jesus, trust in Jesus, joy in Jesus.  Jesus is truly the way to eternal life.The old hymn says it Trust and obey, for there’s no other way…to be happy in Jesus, but to trust and obey…(Sammis) – https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JjWV_Kuxd2s (Moen)“And I assure you that the time is coming, indeed it’s here now, when the dead will hear my voice—the voice of the Son of God.
