March 18, 2020 – Psalm 119:105-106
Your Word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path. I have sworn an oath and confirmed it, to keep your righteous rules. Psalm 119:105-106.
When did light first appear? And God said, “Let there be light,” and there was light. And God saw that the light was good. And God separated the light from the darkness.” Genesis 1:3-4. It is written in His Word and His Light, the Sun, lights our way during the Day.
Just as our Father God is Faithful, that which He has created will endure until the end.
Our hearts grow dark and muddled when our thoughts will not remember and praise our Lord God. We stumble and fall as we walk in the darkness of unbelief. Without God’s Light to help us choose how to walk in this life, we stumble and lose our way. Jesus was not believed by the Pharisees when He testified. “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will not walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.” John 8:12.
The testimonies of the Son of God become our heritage and joy when we believe and hold on to His Right Hand throughout our lives. For your steadfast love is before my eyes,
and I walk in your faithfulness. Psalm 26:3.
God’s Love, and our responding love and faithfulness creates Hope, in all kinds of trials. So now faith, hope, and love abide, these three; but the greatest of these is love. I Corinthians 13:13.
And my God will supply every need of yours according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus. To our God and Father be glory forever and ever. Amen. Philippians 4:19-20
Your testimonies are my heritage forever, for they are the joy of my heart. I incline my heart to perform your statutes forever, to the end. Psalm 119:111-112.
