March 11, 2015 – Romans 8:10-11

Romans8-11And Christ lives within you, so even though your body will die because of sin, the Spirit gives you life because you have been made right with God. The Spirit of God, who raised Jesus from the dead, lives in you. And just as God raised Christ Jesus from the dead, he will give life to your mortal bodies by this same Spirit living within you. Romans 8:10-11The ultimate promise of the ages is that ‘just as God raised Christ Jesus from the dead, he will give life to your mortal bodies by this same Spirit living within you….There is no doubt that Jesus died on the cross and was raised from the dead by God himself.  When we accept Jesus as our Savior, we accept Him as the One and Only Son of God.  Jesus is not an ‘add-on’ among other teachers or prophets.  He loves like no other man on earth.  He lived on earth as no other man ever could.  His credentials as being God’s only son from the ‘beginning’ is clear.  His power and majesty trumps all other powers that have ever existed on earth. He sends the Holy Spirit to us to learn of Him as we live for Him.Yet, there is more… Jesus gives us hope, teaches us through our faith in Him to trust Him and have faith, believing in Him.  He unifies all who believe in Him, with love for our brothers and sisters in Christ.  Through Jesus we have peace, joy and love, for He is the Truth and the Way. Our steadfast hope is in our Lord Jesus Christ in this life and in our eternal home with Him. He sustains us with His Light through the patches of darkness.Do we understand all there is to know?  No.  This is a continuing mystery and joy, the love that includes forgiveness and the hope binds us together in Jesus’ NameThe power of Your redeeming plan. The grace that offers life to man.Is it any wonder…   Is it any wonder… Great are You Lord….Phillips, Craig, DeanIs it any wonder that words are never enough and adequate to describe Jesus and His saving love.  The earth cannot hold the words that have been written about the Word,  Jesus Christ. We give thanks to God always for all of you, constantly mentioning you in our prayers, remembering before our God and Father your work of faith and labor of love and steadfastness of hope in our Lord Jesus Christ.  I Thessalonians 1:2-3
