TrustintheLordTrust in the Lord with all your heart;
     do not depend on your own understanding.
Seek his will in all you do,
     and he will show you which path to take.
Proverbs 3:5-6 As I read these words from Proverbs, I don’t see…”Fret in the Lord” or “Worry in the Lord“.    But I do see these words from Philippians 4:4,18:  “Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice!  I will continue to rejoice!”Whether I feel like it or not, I Rejoice!Rejoicing creates the heart to grow Trust in the Lord.  Whether we feel like trusting or not – Trust. Do we think God can’t handle all the world’s difficulties as well as our own?  We simply trust and learn the lessons God presents to us.  We rejoice because He loves us….not just enough….but all the way.  He wants us as His children.The world blinds our eyes our eyes to the wonder, the power, the glory of God.  Do we know who God is?  God gave us His Name and through Jesus we also have the face of God.  For Jesus is the image of God and in knowing who Jesus is, we know his Father God.

Mom knew joy. January 7, 1992, she wrote, “I went to bed tired but filled with joy — for hope in my heart….”  I can hear Mom breaking out into song of thanksgiving….“Praise God from whom all blessings flow.  Praise Him all creatures here below, Praise Him above, ye heavenly hosts.  Praise Father, Son and Holy Ghost!” (Thomas Ken – 1674)

But I trust in your unfailing love. I will rejoice because you have rescued me.
I will sing to the Lord because he is good to me.  Psalm 13:5-6
