June 23, 2017 – Psalm 73:23-25
Yet I still belong to you; you hold my right hand. You guide me with your counsel, leading me to a glorious destiny. Whom have I in heaven but You? I desire You more than anything on earth. Psalm 73:23-25
Yet…No matter how weak I am and how I fail every day – I still belong to You. I will abide in You, Lord Jesus. Not for a short time, but forever. This abiding in Him is to mirror the relationship Jesus the Son has with His, and our Father God — that the world may know.
Have you ever considered the truth of the question, Whom have I in Heaven but You? Without God in Heaven, there is NO life on earth of any time. We take the rolling clouds bringing rain and birds’ songs for granted. These are gifts from God, evidence of His Greatness.
Jesus is a personal gift to each of us. Do we accept Jesus as our Savior? If we deny His Power and His Lordship, we throw the most precious Gift from our Lord God, back into his Face. His love is so deep and so great that He gives us the strength to do more than get along, but to really love and care for each other — so that the world may know our Lord Jesus.
God is our strength and He, and He alone, is mine forever! Our voices are raised in thankfulness and worship — Whom have I in Heaven but You?
My health may fail, and my spirit may grow weak, but God remains the strength of my heart; He is mine forever. Psalm 73:26
