June 22, 2017 – Psalm 139:17-18
How precious are your thoughts about me, O God. They cannot be numbered! I can’t even count them; they outnumber the grains of sand! And when I wake up, you are still with me! Psalm 139:17-18.
O God, when I awake and read these words, and realize that You are with me, thinking about me, planning my day to glorify You, I am overwhelmed. I think about all the individual, tiny grains of sand on every beach you created, and I bow at your feet in wonder.
No One loves like You! And I wonder, ‘how can I ever repay what You gave me?’ You are truly my Everything. Creator, world maker, God of space and time. Unchanging, unmoving, Constant Friend of mine. All my life and all my worship, To You my everything. All I have with all I am, For You my Everything. (Kati Pessin)
You give me freedom from sin and a life of great joy in your name. Lord Jesus died on the cross, buried, and raised from the dead – for me – for you. All I can give you is my heart, my love, and my worship.
Help me to walk with you, trust in you, and cleanse my thoughts. Search my thoughts and lead me, guide me as a little child to walk with you all the days of my life. Surely your goodness and unfailing love will pursue me all the days of my life, and I will live in the house of the Lord forever. Psalm 23:6
Search me, O God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts. Point out anything in me that offends you, and lead me along the path of everlasting life. Psalm 139:23-24
