July 8, 2015 – Hebrews 1:3

Hebrews1-3He is the radiance of the glory of God and the exact imprint of his nature, and he upholds the universe by the word of his power. After making purification for sins, he sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high. Hebrews 1:3Jesus, Jesus, Jesus…And there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.  Acts 4:12Jesus is the radiance of God.  The glory of God whitened Moses’ face.  The glory of God is a mystery. Behold, the Lord our God has shown us his glory and greatness. (Deuteronomy 5:24). The heavens declare the glory of God, and the sky above proclaims his handiwork.  (Psalm 19:1). The voice of the Lord is over the waters; the God of glory thunders, the Lord, over many waters.  (Psalm 29:3). It is the glory of God to conceal things.. (Proverbs 25:2)But he, full of the Holy Spirit, gazed into heaven and saw the glory of God, and Jesus standing at the right hand of God.  (Acts 7:55).  For God, who said, “Let light shine out of darkness,” has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.  (2 Corinthians 4:6)Jesus came to this earth to provide a glorious inheritance for the saints, those who believe and trust in Him.  His glory is all encompassing.  God himself raised his One and Only Son from the dead and seated Him in a place of honor, at his own right hand.We are made to worship Jesus, the Son of the One true God.  Chris Tomlin wrote these true lyrics…He has filled our hearts with wonder So that we always remember.  You and I were made to worship, You and I are called to love, You and I are forgiven and free When you and I embrace surrender When you and I choose to believe.  Then you and I will see who we were meant to be….(https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jJkMd603NrM)…having the eyes of your hearts enlightened, that you may know what is the hope to which he has called you, what are the riches of his glorious inheritance in the saints, and what is the immeasurable greatness of his power toward us who believe, according to the working of his great might that he worked in Christ when he raised him from the dead and seated him at his right hand in the heavenly places.  Ephesians 1:18-20
