Psalm91-9-10If you make the Lord your refuge, if you make the Most High your shelter, no evil will conquer you; no plague will come near your home. For he will order his angels to protect you wherever you go. They will hold you up with their hands so you won’t even hurt your foot on a stone. Psalm 91:9-12The promises IF.  IF becomes such a huge word.  IF becomes mountain to climb or a door to enter through.  How difficult it is to depend on the Lord.  We have this pervading belief that it all depends on us.  Yet God promises a refuge, our shelter from those times when we are undone in the situations of life.  It is a life-time learning to climb the mountain of IF and rely on God.His promises are written on the page in Psalm 91.  In black and white, are His promises.  Rescue — Protect — Answer — honor — reward — !  Reward?  Yes, with long life.  Now I know that the long life can be eternal life through the salvation that God gives us through His One and Only Son, Jesus.Who do you trust?  I trust the Creator of All that surrounds me in intricate detail that continues to astound scientists and philosophers.  I trust the Living God who lives beyond our time in an Alpha to Omega Eternity.  I trust the One who answers my prayers in His Way.  I trust the One who Loves me beyond all earthly reason. Therefore he is able, once and forever, to save those who come to God through him. He lives forever to intercede with God on their behalf.  Hebrews 7:25The Lord says, “I will rescue those who love me. I will protect those who trust in my name. When they call on me, I will answer; I will be with them in trouble. I will rescue and honor them. I will reward them with a long life and give them my salvation.” Psalm 91:14-16
