Lord, through all the generations you have been our home! Before the mountains were born, before you gave birth to the earth and the world, from beginning to end, you are God. Psalm 90:1-2Jesus is my ‘safe place’, He is my home.  My ancestors taught me that God is Love.  It didn’t matter where ‘Home’ is located across the globe – from Holland to Russia, from Russia to anywhere in United States – Home is where we worship our Lord God.  He who created the world from the beginning has been Home.As I write, our three grandchildren, Alyssa, Hilarie and J.D. wing their way from Rwanda, Africa to United States after a brief missionary journey in Jesus’ Name.  They rest for the moment in Amsterdam, Holland, before continuing their journey to their earthly home, in the heart of Illinois.And they were home in Africa, for when Jesus came to earth, died on the cross and rose again, He was given the highest honor, the highest name, Jesus by Father God.  Every knee shall bow in heaven, on earth and under the earth at the name of Jesus.  And I hear my brothers and sisters in Christ, in Mandarin, in Swahili, in Russian, in German — in every language — sing with me.  We sing Hallelujah’s to our Lord Jesus!  And we know that our safe place is Home Sweet Home nestled in the arms of Jesus.He humbled himself in obedience to God and died a criminal’s death on a cross. Therefore, God elevated him to the place of highest honor and gave him the name above all other names, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, Philippians 2:8-10
