January 15, 2021 – Psalm 19:7-9
The law of the Lord is perfect, reviving the soul; the testimony of the Lord is sure, making wise the simple; the precepts of the Lord are right, rejoicing the heart; the commandment of the Lord is pure, enlightening the eyes; the fear of the Lord is clean, enduring forever; the rules of the Lord are true, and righteous altogether. Psalm 19:7-9.
As I watch in awe as huge snow flakes fall to earth after falling leaves signal the change of a season. The memories of sweet moments of being in the world you created give me peace, and renew my heart.
Everywhere God is He lightens our understanding of His Great Love to renew. His word is true and just. His desire to redeem us is foremost in His Mind and purpose. Not for a moment, but forever, His Love is steadfast. For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope. Jeremiah 29:11.
Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in Christ with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places, even as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and blameless before Him. In love, He predestined us for adoption to Himself as sons through Jesus Christ, according to the purpose of His will. Ephesians 1:3-5.
O, Lord, My God, I pray that your Word of Truth grows sweeter each time we read or hear it. May we desire and taste Your Word with Joy. In Jesus’ Name, I pray. Amen.
More to be desired are they than gold, even much fine gold; sweeter also than honey and drippings of the honeycomb. Moreover, by them is your servant warned; in keeping them there is great reward. Psalm 19:10-11.
