ICorinthians13-12Now we see things imperfectly, like puzzling reflections in a mirror, but then we will see everything with perfect clarity. All that I know now is partial and incomplete, but then I will know everything completely, just as God now knows me completely.  I Corinthians 13:12The innate longing of the human being is ‘to know’.  Clouded vision becomes a disaster for the seeker.  Clouded vision, the inability to know only in part,  is an opportunity to trust and walk in faith.  When we do not know what our path is, we do not strike out on our own.  When we pray for guidance and attune our hearts to God’s desires we grow strong.  God has unlimited resources to empower us with inner strength through his Spirit.  Make room in your heart for Christ to make his home there.  Trust Him.  Let your heart be watered by his love and your roots flourish in the glory that is His.  Then we will know how wide, how deep, how high and how long His Love is.  His Love holds the universe together.  His Love provides strength.  His Love is the power house of Light. Then we will be made complete — with all the fullness of life and power that comes from God.  No matter what challenges that come, we will be strong in Him.  The care of a new baby, a new job, answers where there seem to none, facing the death of a loved one – nothing is too hard for Him.Wishing for the easy way is not our way, for then we become weak and useless.  Facing challenges head on brings us to our knees and we are lifted up to serve.  I pray that you know Him and love Him, for greatly is He to be praised.I pray that from his glorious, unlimited resources he will empower you with inner strength through his Spirit. Then Christ will make his home in your hearts as you trust in him. Your roots will grow down into God’s love and keep you strong. And may you have the power to understand, as all God’s people should, how wide, how long, how high, and how deep his love is. May you experience the love of Christ, though it is too great to understand fully. Then you will be made complete with all the fullness of life and power that comes from God. Ephesians 3:16-19
