February 24, Psalm 119:40-41
Behold, I long for your precepts; in your righteousness give me life! Let your steadfast love come to me, O Lord, your salvation according to your promise. Psalm 119:40-41.
As a deer pants for flowing streams, so pants my soul for you, O God. My soul thirsts for God, for the living God. Psalm 42:1-2.
May I never forget the might and the righteousness of my Lord God. May my longing for learning and following Him increase. I pray that my longing for His steadfast love never ends.
How is this possible? Trust in the Lord, and do good; dwell in the land and befriend faithfulness. Delight yourself in the Lord, and He will give you the desires of your heart. Psalm 37:3-4.
It is when I treasure the time I spend in hearing and following His commandments that I find delight in learning His will for my life. Because God is my righteousness and truth, “Behold, God is my salvation; I will trust, and will not be afraid; for the Lord God is my strength and my song, and He has become my salvation.” Psalm 12:2.
When we endure difficult times and think we cannot stand, we wonder why. “Behold, God is my salvation; I will trust, and will not be afraid; for the Lord God is my strength and my song, and He has become my salvation.” Hebrews 12:11.
Count it all joy, my brothers, when you meet trials of various kinds. James 1:2.
Oh, taste and see that the Lord is good! Blessed is the man who takes refuge in Him! Psalm 34:8
I will keep your law continually, forever and ever, and I shall walk in a wide place, for I have sought your precepts. I will also speak of your testimonies before kings and shall not be put to shame, for I find my delight in your commandments, which I love. Psalm 119:44-47.
Thank you, Joy. Good to hear from you. I miss you, too!
