Colossians3-15a2And let the peace that comes from Christ rule in your hearts. For as members of one body you are called to live in peace. And always be thankful. Colossians 3:15The beginning and the durability of peace comes from our Lord Jesus Christ.  His ability to love is beyond our capability to fathom and compels us to love Him.  He died a most terrifying death on the cross, and yet His thoughts were for the thief on the cross beside to Him. And Jesus replied, “I assure you, today you will be with me in paradise.”  Luke 23:43And always be thankful….is the key to peace.  Seeing your world one day with thankful eyes and heart will create a peaceful heart. This day one day, I will view all things with a thankful heart, a first cousin to love. There are no coincidences – everything happens for a purpose.  As a Gentile, I know that the riches and glory of Christ are for me, too.  For Christ lives in me.  I will no longer see each day through my eyes, but through the eyes of Jesus who lives in me.Oh, glorious thought, I have the assurance of sharing his glory.  Because He loves, I can live in peace and love.  In this moment and the moments to come —Never pay back evil with more evil. Do things in such a way that everyone can see you are honorable.  Do all that you can to live in peace with everyoneRomans 12:17-18

For God wanted them to know that the riches and glory of Christ are for you Gentiles, too. And this is the secret: Christ lives in you. This gives you assurance of sharing his glory. Colossians 1:27
