February 18, 2020 – Colossians 3:12-14

Put on then, as God’s chosen ones, holy and beloved, compassionate hearts, kindness, humility, meekness, and patience, bearing with one another and, if one has a complaint against another,  forgiving each other; as the Lord has forgiven you, so you also must forgive. And above all these put on love, which binds everything together in perfect harmony. Colossians 3:12-14.

How we want others perfect harmony with others, with peace and joy. Constantly smiling and patient.  And above all else – checking if we are putting on love.  Forgiving. kindness, humility, patient, and forgiving.

Is this an impossibility?  Not when Christ Jesus rules our hearts! Then we desire to teach others with wisdom  and sing hymns and spiritual song with thankfulness.   We love to call your name, It’s something, we cannot explain, That happens, when we proclaim… Your Great Name!  Things change, When we call on your name.

Then whatever we do in word or deed, we do everything in the name of Lord Jesus!  We give continuous thanks to God the Father.  He chose us before the world began.  We put lies and immorality in our lives to death.  We set our minds on things above and keep them on Jesus, Who lights our way in this dark world.

The song for all ages is, Yes, Jesus love me, Yes, Jesus loves me, For the Bible tells me so!

And let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, to which indeed you were called in one body. And be thankful. Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, teaching and admonishing one another in all wisdom, singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, with thankfulness in your hearts to God. And whatever you do, in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him. Colossians 3:15-17.
