I look up to the mountains—does my help come from there? My help comes from the Lord, who made heaven and earth! He will not let you stumble; the one who watches over you will not slumber. Indeed, he who watches over Israel never slumbers or sleeps. Psalm 121:2Merry Christmas! And that Babe, who lay in the Manger so long ago is the Messiah. The long awaited One. The One who made heaven and earth. The One who watches over us. The One who watches over each of us. No matter where we go, the One, is with us in our coming and going. He is the reason for our Peace, Joy and our Hope. He is our Hope. He is our Jesus-Joy. How can we not love Him, and celebrate Jesus, not just today, but every moment of our lives. He is our Savior. He loved us even before we loved Him.On the Christmas Day, we praise You, Lord. We adore You and delight in You. We rest in You. We lift up our family and our friends to you. Yes, even our enemies, those who revile us. Even as Jesus said while on the cross suffering for our sins, “Forgive them, for they know not what they do….” He forgave — help us to have this much love, so that even our enemies know your love and our forgiveness. Help us to love with your love. Forevermore. The Lord watches over you—the Lord is your shade at your right hand; the sun will not harm you by day, nor the moon by night. The Lord will keep you from all harm—he will watch over your life; the Lord will watch over your coming and going both now and forevermore. Psalm 121:5-8.
