December 1, 2017 – 2 Thessalonians 2:15
With all these things in mind, dear brothers and sisters, stand firm and keep a strong grip on the teaching we passed on to you both in person and by letter. 2 Thessalonians 2:15.
But the Lord’s plans stand firm forever; his intentions can never be shaken. Psalm 33:11. God’s purposes never change. How can we stand firm? Believe in the Lord your God, and you will be able to stand firm. Believe in his prophets, and you will succeed.” 2 Chronicles 20:20b. And in Psalm 119:89, Believe in the Lord your God, and you will be able to stand firm. Believe in his prophets, and you will succeed.”
In the New Testament, stand firm, is echoed. No one says this ‘standing firm’ is easy. Stay alert! Watch out for your great enemy, the devil. He prowls around like a roaring lion, looking for someone to devour. Stand firm against him and be strong in your faith. Remember that your family of believers all over the world is going through the same kind of suffering you are. I Peter 8:5-9.

Take delight in the Lord, and he will give you your heart’s desires. Commit everything you do to the Lord. Trust Him, and He will help you. Psalm 37:4-5.
Now may our Lord Jesus Christ himself and God our Father, who loved us and by his grace gave us eternal comfort and a wonderful hope, comfort you and strengthen you in every good thing you do and say. 2 Thessalonians 2:16-17.
