August 26, 2021 – Psalm 66:1-4
Shout for joy to God, all the earth; sing the glory of his name; give to Him glorious praise! Say to God, “How awesome are Your deeds! So great is Your power that Your enemies come cringing to You. All the earth worships You and sings praises to You; they sing praises to Your name.” Psalm 66:1-4.
Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, rejoice. Let your reasonableness be known to everyone. The Lord is at hand; do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:4-7.
Joy and Peace comes from Jesus. There is no reason to be anxious when we let our requests be known to Him. Even as God delivered the Israelites from the Egyptian soldiers, Noah was saved from the flood, and Abraham was tested, ready to give up his only son, Isaac, all through faith in God.
Indeed, down through the ages, we know God is awesome in His deeds, even to sending His Son Jesus to die on the cross, and we become children of God.
O Lord, my God, I thank you for your goodness, and praise You with a forever Joy. Even as the birds sing praise, and the testimony of color brings joy, we exalt your Name. There is no end to your Goodness! Glory to God in the Highest. I praise You in the Name of Jesus. Amen.
May God be gracious to us and bless us and make His face to shine upon us, Selah, that Your way may be known on earth, Your saving power among all nations. Psalm 67:1-2.
Come and see what God has done: He is awesome in His deeds toward the children of man. Psalm 66.5.
