August 20, 2015 – Ephesians 5:1-2
You are God’s dear children, so try to be like him. Live a life of love. Love others just as Christ loved us. He gave himself for us—a sweet-smelling offering and sacrifice to God. Ephesians 5:1-2No matter how old we become, we want someone to love us and think of us as their child. Even your Grandpa and Grandma. Since the beginning of time the same Father God has thought of us as His children. The song that we all learn when we are small is, Jesus loves me, this I know…for the Bible tells me so. Little ones to Him belong; They are weak, but He is strong. Yes, Jesus loves me, Yes, Jesus loves me, Yes, Jesus loves me. The Bible tells me so. (Anna Warner)This is a song for all of us, we can sing this no matter how old we become. Jesus is strong and He loves us.Have you ever wondered how you would solve a problem, be forgiven or just find happiness in life? The answer is God in Heaven. All we have to do is ask Him. He changes things. If we think we know all the answers, God lets us try. Keep on asking, and you will receive what you ask for. Keep on seeking, and you will find. Keep on knocking, and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks, receives. Everyone who seeks, finds. And to everyone who knocks, the door will be opened. Matthew 7:7-8 (The Bible tells me so!)When you need help, look to Heaven, be wise, and ask God for help. He is waiting, hoping, and longing to hear from you. Remember you are his child!God looks down from heaven to see if there is anyone who is wise, anyone who looks to him for help. Psalm 53:2
