April 27, 2016 – Isaiah55:8-9
“My thoughts are nothing like your thoughts,” says the Lord. “And my ways are far beyond anything you could imagine. For just as the heavens are higher than the earth, so my ways are higher than your ways and my thoughts higher than your thoughts.” Isaiah 55:8-9I am so thankful that God is the Lord Almighty and I am not. He created me, I did not, cannot, create God. I am content to be a child of God. I am blessed to know and worship the Jehovah Jireh, the Lord Who provides. No one can love like God and no one, or anything on earth, can make us whole like Jesus. When science theorizes the why of the things God created, they neglect the ultimate understanding of our Father in Heaven. They try to write God out in their postulations of human smartness, showing their complete lack of understanding of the One who created them.In the verses of the same chapter show how God thinks. He puts into motion the rain and snow that comes to water the earth, and causes grain to grow that provides food for the hungry. In the same way that he sends out His Word, that it might provide His fruit and understanding in the hearts of man. This accomplishes all He wants it to do. It prospers everywhere I send it. When calamity of any kind strikes in our lives, it is a reminder, we need God’s love and comfort. In death or separation, hunger or thirst, losing our job or our health, we need The Lord God who loves us and is all powerful. We turn to Jehovah Jireh in adoration and praise for He will deliver.“The rain and snow come down from the heavens and stay on the ground to water the earth. They cause the grain to grow, producing seed for the farmer and bread for the hungry. It is the same with my word. I send it out, and it always produces fruit. It will accomplish all I want it to, and it will prosper everywhere I send it.” Isaiah 55:10-11
