April 15, 2019 – James 1:2-4
Count it all joy, my brothers, when you meet trials of various kinds, for you know that the testing of your faith produces steadfastness. And let steadfastness have its full effect, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing. James 1:2-4.
Is making a decision difficult for you in this world? The wisdom to make good decisions comes from God by depending completely on Him and knowing Him. Recently, a friend sent a music video, entitled, “The God Who Sees.”
Our God Who Sees, has the ability to see our hearts, our motivations, and knows our every thought. Reading the Inspired Word of God gives us understanding and joy, when we trust our Lord. He brings us contentment and joy as we trust His guidance and boundaries throughout our lives.
We become a dried leaf at the mercy of the wind, with no purpose without when we try life without His wisdom. When our victory song begins, “The Lord is my Shepherd, I shall not want,” we will find, He is enough.
For by Him all things were created, in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities—all things were created through Him and for Him. And He is before all things, and in Him all things hold together. And He is the head of the body, the church. He is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, that in everything He might be preeminent. Colossians 1:16-18.
Shout for joy to God, all the earth. Psalm 66:1
If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask God, who gives generously to all without reproach, and it will be given him. But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea that is driven and tossed by the wind. James 1:5-6.
