April 14, 2015 – Isaiah 26:3

You will keep in perfect peace him whose mind is steadfast, because he trusts in you. Isaiah 26:3Peace, Peace, wonderful Peace, Coming down  from the Father above, Sweep over my spirit forever, I pray, In fathomless billows of love!Singing these words provide provides a measure of peace as does the verse from Philippians 4:7 –And the peace of God, which passes all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.Keeps hearts and minds…through Christ Jesus.  How does this happen, this peace?  Try these verbs on for action, for we are people who want to ‘do’.  For righteousness — Wait for the Lord, desire the name and remember the Lord, yearn for Him in the night, Seek the Lord and learn righteousness.These verbs propel us down the level  path of righteousness!  Night and Day He fills our hearts with desire for righteousness.  Yearning to be His, know Him more deeply, desire His love above all else, day and night.How we long to be right, do right, live right, even as children.  Until we walk with our hand holding on to our Creator, we will stumble.  But why, should we stumble when we have the answer?  Listen to Isaiah, look to God with me and wait on Him.  We are loved beyond our wildest dreams.  Choose Jesus.The path of the righteous is level; you make level the way of the righteous. In the path of your judgments,  O Lord, we wait for you; your name and remembrance are the desire of our soul. My soul yearns for you in the night; my spirit within me earnestly seeks you. For when your judgments are in the earth, the inhabitants of the world learn righteousness. Isaiah 26:7-9
