August 30, 2021 – I Peter 1:20-23

He was foreknown before the foundation of the world but was made manifest in the last times for the sake of you who through Him are believers in God, who raised Him from the dead and gave Him glory so that your faith and hope are in God. Having purified your souls by your obedience to the truth for a sincere brotherly love, love one another earnestly from a pure heart, since you have been born again, not of perishable seed but of imperishable, through the living and abiding word of God. I Peter 1:20-23.

Before the Heavens and Earth was recreated, Jesus lived.  God raised Him from the dead after He died for our sins. Because Jesus Lives our faith and hope in God is secure. Because He so loved us, we are enabled to love one another.

In Christ Jesus, we are born again of seeds that will not die.

O Father, the Great I Am, Lover of my Soul, cleanse me, through the love of Your Son Jesus. Give me the desire to love others and pray for them. I pray in the Name of Jesus.  Amen.

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! According to His great mercy, He has caused us to be born again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,  to an inheritance that is imperishable, undefiled, and unfading, kept in heaven for you,  who by God’s power are being guarded through faith for a salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.  I Peter 1:3-5. Whoever keeps His Word, is assured of Life Eternal.

“All flesh is like grass and all its glory like the flower of grass. The grass withers and the flower falls, but the word of the Lord remains forever.” And this Word is the good news that was preached to you. I Peter 1:23-24.
