July 5, 2021 – Psalm 108:1-3

My heart is steadfast, O God! I will sing and make melody with all my being! Awake, O harp and lyre! I will awake the dawn! I will give thanks to you, O Lord, among the peoples; I will sing praises to you among the nations. Psalm 108:1-3.

When I consider the height of the mountains that reach all day for the stars you placed into heavens, I praise You.  The days are not long enough to sing Your praises.

Your power and majesty in all You created in the beginning tells me of Your Greatness.  Salvation is in Your Right Hand.

O Lord, my God…open my eyes, open my heart to grasp the Wonder of Your steadfast Love and Your Joy that brings salvation and causes me to sing. I pray in the name of Jesus! Amen.

And when I think that God, His Son not sparing, Sent Him to die, I scarce can take it in, That on the cross, my burden gladly bearing, He bled and died to take away my sin. Then sings my soul, my Savior God to Thee, How great Thou art, how great Thou art. (C. Underwood)

Because of your Greatness, oh, Lord, I will follow You, My heart is steadfast, O God!  I will sing and make melody with all my being to praise You

I lift up my eyes to the hills. From where does my help come? My help comes from the Lord, who made heaven and earth. He will not let your foot be moved; He who keeps you will not slumber. Psalm 121:1-3.

For your steadfast love is great above the heavens; your faithfulness reaches to the clouds. Be exalted, O God, above the heavens! Let your glory be over all the earth! That your beloved ones may be delivered, give salvation by your right hand and answer me! Psalm 108:4-6.
