March 23, 2020 – Psalm 27:1

The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? The Lord is the stronghold of my life; of whom shall I be afraid? Psalm 27:1.

Light was the first thing God created after He created the Heaven and Earth.  For you are my lamp, O Lord, and my God lightens my darkness. 2 Samuel 22:29.

God give us hope and confidence in Him when we see the Dawn appear in all its brilliance. Do not rejoice over me, O my enemy Though I fall I will rise; Though I dwell in darkness, the LORD is a light for me. Micah 7:8.

Do not be afraid of sudden terror or of the ruin of the wicked, when it comes, for the Lord will be your confidence and will keep your foot from being caught. Proverbs 3:25-26. Each time I hear a doom and gloom broadcast, I remember that only our Lord, who created us in His image, and created the mighty mountains, endless ocean wave, and a tiny seed that can become a huge oak tree can protect us.

Only our Lord God can love us, and send His Son to earth to transform us until we are able to love others.  Only Our Lord God can forgive our sins.

O LORD God of hosts, restore us; Cause Your face to shine upon us, and we will be saved. Psalm 80:19.

Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,  I will fear no evil,
for You are with me; Your rod and Your staff,  they comfort me.  Psalm 23:4.

I will not be afraid of many thousands of people who have set themselves against me all around. Psalm 3:6.    For your steadfast love is before my eyes, and I walk in your faithfulness. Psalm 26:3.

Though an army encamp against me, my heart shall not fear; though war arise against me, yet I will be confident. Psalm 27:3.
