March 11, 2020 – Psalm 37:3-4
Trust in the Lord, and do good; dwell in the land and befriend faithfulness. Delight yourself in the Lord, and He will give you the desires of your heart. Psalm 37:3-4.
Believing our Lord and doing good shows that we trust Our Lord God. And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up. Galatians 6:9. God is faithful, by whom you were called into the fellowship of his Son, Jesus Christ our Lord. I Corinthians 1:9.
It is when we experience joy in reading the truths of our Lord, following His way, we delight in the Lord. Do you have favorite verses in God’s Word that speak to you? The things we desire change, and we choose to walk in God’s way of truth, love, and faithfulness.
When we commit, hold fast to the Lord’s way, He shines the light of righteousness and justice in our lives. He fights for us. Be still, be patient and allow God to teach us and allow our Eternal Father to lead us in doing good.
It is when we see the Lord as our Shepherd, tenderly holding us, and bringing us peace and contentment, we know we are home in the Lord.
The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He makes me lie down in green pastures. He leads me beside still waters. He restores my soul. He leads me in paths of righteousness for His name’s sake. Psalm 23:1-3.
Commit your way to the Lord; trust in Him, and He will act. He will bring forth your righteousness as the light, and your justice as the noonday. Be still before the Lord and wait patiently for Him; fret not yourself over the one who prospers in his way, over the man who carries out evil devices! Psalm 37:5-7.
