June 10, 2015 – Psalm 72:18-19
Praise the Lord God, the God of Israel, who alone does such wonderful things. Praise his glorious name forever! Let the whole earth be filled with his glory. Amen and amen! Psalm 72:18-19 (Solomon)When things seem bleak and things go wrong, there is always something left to do — Praise the Lord, for He is good! He does marvelous things. Only He can make things right in our lives. Praising the Lord changes our outlook from bitter to loving, from complaining to seeing the truth of God.When King Solomon penned this Psalm, he didn’t know that it would help us understand how he lived – praising the Lord. The Lord God gave Solomon great wisdom. If Solomon sees the glory of God in this world, maybe I am not looking hard enough? Can we say we are innocent? We can only be innocent before the Lord when He brings me into His Presence through the blood of Jesus. And we praise the Lord, who lives from everlasting to everlasting…forever and ever. And we will never die in Jesus, for he broke the chains of death. And I give Him my heart. I give Him my life. Amen and Amen.
You have preserved my life because I am innocent; you have brought me into your presence forever. Praise the Lord, the God of Israel, who lives from everlasting to everlasting. Amen and amen! Psalm 41:12-13
