June 8, 2015 – I Corinthians 2:9

“No eye has seen, no ear has heard, and no mind has imagined what God has prepared for those who love him.”            1 Corinthians 2:9No mind of man can imagine what God has prepared…mystery upon mystery.  Writers through the ages have tried to convey in words what they conceive might be the state of Heaven and not one is able to do so.The God who created the splendors of earth and sky and sea has more for those who love Him.  Through Jesus we have the Holy Spirit that connects us with God and his thoughts that we might understand the things God gives us freely.Oh, LORD Jehovah, I pray that you create in me a desire to be more like Jesus, your Son in all things here on earth.  Teach me, Guide me in your pathways.  You are Holy, You are my God.  Let me love like You.  In Jesus’ Name, Amen.…these things God has revealed to us through the Spirit.  For the Spirit searches everything, even the depths of God. For who knows a person’s thoughts except the spirit of that person, which is in him?  So also no one comprehends the thoughts of God except the Spirit of God.  Now we have received not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, that we might understand the things freely given us by God. And we impart this in words not taught by human wisdom but taught by the Spirit, interpreting spiritual truths to those who are spiritual.  I Corinthians 2:10-13
