August 27, 2018 – Psalm 31:19

How great is the goodness you have stored up for those who fear You. You lavish it on those who come to You for protection, blessing them before the watching world. Psalm 31:19.

Our Lord has storehouses of Goodness for His Faithful Ones.  Jeremiah 38:22-23 – “Have you entered the storehouses of the snow, or have you seen the storehouses of the hail, which I have reserved for the time of trouble,  for the day of battle and war?”  

Just to know God has Goodness stored up for me and for you, gives me Hope and Joy.  Lord God, You protect me from the evil around me.  You bless me with your Peace.   God’s weakness is stronger than the greatest of human strength. (I Corinthians 1:25b)

Only through God’s strength can we be strong and courageous as we put our hope in the Lord.  Put on your new nature, and be renewed as you learn to know your Creator and become like Him. Colossians 3:10.  Since God chose us to be holy people He loves, how shall we live then?  Colossians 3:12b-13 – Clothe yourselves with tenderhearted mercy, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience. Make allowance for each other’s faults, and forgive anyone who offends you. Remember, the Lord forgave you, so you must forgive others.

Discordant music is displeasing to the ear and disharmony is not acceptable in God’s Kingdom.  Above all, clothe yourselves with love, which binds us all together in perfect harmony.  And let the peace that comes from Christ rule in your hearts. For as members of one body you are called to live in peace. And always be thankful. Colossians 3:14-15.

Love the Lord, all you godly ones! For the Lord protects those who are loyal to him, but he harshly punishes the arrogant. So be strong and courageous, all you who put your hope in the Lord.  Psalm 31:23-24
