May 28, 2018 – Psalm 33:5-6

He loves whatever is just and good; the unfailing love of the Lord fills the earth. The Lord merely spoke and the heavens were created. He breathed the word, and all the stars were born. Psalm 33:5-6.

The cascade of meaningless words pouring into the air invades hearing minds. We sift the words we hear and search for the truth – words with lasting meaning.

You were cleansed from your sins when you obeyed the truth, so now you must show sincere love to each other as brothers and sisters. Love each other deeply with all your heart.  For you have been born again, but not to a life that will quickly end. Your new life will last forever because it comes from the eternal, living word of God.  I Peter 1:22-23.

But those who obey God’s word truly show how completely they love him. That is how we know we are living in him. Those who say they live in God should live their lives as Jesus did. 1 John 2:5-6.

How would we create the world?  Many books are built with plans and yet, more concise plans to create anything, a list of supplies to purchase, and how much time it should take.

Our Lord God breathed more stars than we can count into being. When He spoke, the world began.  He is the ultimate designer, craftsman, and builder without hands. There is no other being who is able to create effortlessly so many varied systems that work together in unity.  A lesson we humans need to understand is the wisdom of following and fearing our Lord.  We stand in awe and wonder of our Lord!

Let the whole world fear the Lord, and let everyone stand in awe of him. For when he spoke, the world began! It appeared at his command. Psalm 33:8-9.
